Hey! I'm Juju and I am a Molecular Biology PhD candidate at the University of Texas, Austin. I am working on a proteomic analysis of the Leafcutter ant - fungus symbiosis. Specifically, I am interested in the discovery and characterization of novel degradative enzymes for plant biomass degradation. To complete my widespread Neotropical analysis of these enzymes within leafcutter ants, I am heading to the grasslands of Paraguay.
