Support Juju's Recovery: Help Him Overcome IVDD

My name is Allyssa, and I am Soju’s aka (Juju) mom. Juju has been a healthy 3 year old French bulldog since the day we got him. He is very active, playful, and food driven!

Recently, we found out our Juju has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). The doctors said he has a slipped disc on his spine. He quickly progressed from normal walking to paralysis all in a 24 hour period and is at stage 4 of IVDD, on the verge of stage 5. Emotionally & financially, this has taken a toll on me and my family, especially our daughter, Khylee. We love our dogs as we love our own kids and we want to do the best we can for him. It’s so unfortunate that 2 of his rear legs are paralyzed and he would need to undergo surgery that costs about $15,000. At his age, we want to give him a chance at life at his young age.

Since he is on the verge of stage 5, the doctors said it may be very tricky to get surgery at this time because he would've need to get it within 48 hours of paralysis. With the financial circumstances, we were not able to come up with that amount of money in 2 days. We are in in hopes that he has some progress and positive signs with the medication he is prescribed while on crate rest, that way we can follow up and get his surgery.
