Hi, my name is Pillar, and I am originally from Juiz de Fora, Brazil. I am creating this fundraiser with a heavy heart to help families in my hometown who have been severely affected by days of intense and continuous rain that caused devastating floods.

After nearly a week of nonstop rain, many neighborhoods are underwater. Homes have collapsed, families have lost everything they owned, and thousands of people are now without shelter. Sadly, there have also been lives lost, and the situation is still very serious.

Many families urgently need basic necessities such as clean water, food, hygiene items, clothes, and temporary shelter. Even small contributions can make a real impact — for example, just $2 can help provide multiple bottles of clean water for someone in need.

I am organizing this GoFundMe personally because Juiz de Fora is my hometown, and I want to directly support families who are suffering and starting from zero. Every donation will go toward emergency relief and essential supplies for affected families.
