Support juice's journey to Top Surgery!

Wassup Family,

My name is juice wood, I'm a 29 year old non-binary/gender queer/transmasculine artist & organizer from Inglewood, CA and in 3 days I am finally getting Top Surgery!

For those reading who are unfamiliar with the term, Top Surgery is a gender affirming term used by folks in the gender health field to describe a Double Mastectomy procedure that some non-binary/trans/masculine of center folks get to feel more at home in their bodies. For me, Top Surgery is both aesthetic and preventative as breast cancer runs in my family on my mother's side.

I have been trying to get this surgery since 2018 and have faced several obstacles along the way, but the time has finally come for me to cross the finish line and I am so grateful! However, I still have one remaining obstacle to overcome and I am coming to my community for potential support in doing so.

I am looking for support in coming up with $3500 to cover a portion of the remaining costs for my surgery, purchase necessary supplies I will need during my recovery, and cover a portion of my rent and bills over the next few months while I am unable to work.

FINANCIAL BREAKDOWN:

Thankfully my mom will be able to care for me as I recover but she will still be working majority of the time and also has her own health to take care of and so as not to burden her, I will also happily accept any gift cards or monetary donations for meals/groceries!
