Hi, my name is Juel and this year has been incredibly exciting for me. I’ve competed in the Regional Moot Court debates, became a finalist, and advanced to the National Debate competitions in Washington DC. In addition to that, I’ve been balancing acting classes and multiple school activities. Always striving to learn and grow.

Now, I am thrilled to share that I have earned a partial culinary arts and cultural scholarship to travel to Kyoto, Japan through CIEE!! This is a place I’ve only dreamed of experiencing. This opportunity will allow me to immerse myself in Japanese culture, explore their food, fashion, language, and historic temples….OMG!! It’s a chance to expand my global perspective and connect with people from all over the world.
