Support Judy’s Healing Journey After Attack

Dear Friends and Family,
My name is Tori Crackel, and I’m reaching out to share an incredibly personal chapter in my life that calls for our compassion, strength, and unity. On November 1st, 2024, my grandmother Judy Crackel, a vibrant and cherished 79-year-old, fell victim to a brutal attack right in her own home. What should be a sanctuary for her turned into a place of fear and pain when she was assaulted by her neighbor.
The aftermath of that day still resonates painfully in her life. She is now recovering from a fractured vertebra in her neck, a fractured finger, a fractured thumb, and a severe black eye, along with numerous bruises and cuts that serve as reminders of a traumatic encounter. While her body is slowly healing, the emotional scars are slower to mend. The place she once loved, filled with cherished memories and laughter, has been transformed into a shadow of its former self — a haunting reminder of fears and vulnerability.
Your support will not only help alleviate financial stress but will also contribute to her healing process. In addition, her son is applying for FMLA so he can stay home with her, as she is terrified to be alone at this point. They will need money for groceries and gas to get to and from doctor/specialist appointments.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can surround her with love and support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering helping my grandmother. For those who can share this message or provide financial assistance, we are deeply grateful. Let’s come together to lift her spirit and ensure that she receives the care she deserves.
With love,
Tori Crackel
