Judy-Ann Graham and her daughter Rekayla Lang are facing a devastating crisis in Jamaica after Hurricane Melisa tore through their community. The storm left their home badly damaged, with uprooted trees crashing onto the roof, windows blown out, and water leaking inside. Now, with roads blocked and no access to food, water, or electricity, they are struggling to meet even their most basic needs.

Judy-Ann has always been a loving and caring mother, and our bond has been unbreakable since I was a child. We grew up with very little, often walking everywhere because we couldn’t afford transportation, but my mother’s strength and kindness always kept us going. My little sister Rekayla, who I met after moving to the United States, has inherited that same big heart. Whenever I visit, I see her amazing personality shine through, even in tough times.

Right now, their most urgent needs are food and water, followed by repairs to their damaged home. The emotional toll has been immense—they are distraught, unable to work, and worried about how they’ll get by. I am currently in flight school in the U.S., working part time and doing everything I can to support my family, my wife, and my son. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean the world to us and help Judy-Ann and Rekayla get back on their feet after this disaster.
