Support Judy Sturgill's Battle Against Cancer

Hi all! My name is Megan Sturgill, and I am starting this go fund me on behalf of my grandmother, Judy Sturgill, however most know her by ‘Meemama’. Not too long ago, Meemama was diagnosed with cancer, cancer that has quickly spread all through out her body. The chemo is taking an awful toll on her body, between the pain, fatigue, and lack of appetite. She is fighting a battle most would’ve already succumbed too.

She is the most selfless person I know. She was a nurse for 40 years in psychiatry, dedicating the vast majority of her life to catering to others. It’s time that she is now catered to. There are dozens of people I could reach out to tell you how amazing of a woman she is, how kind, caring, & thoughtful she is. She deserves so much more than this world has given her.

As most know, chemo is not only mentally and physically crippling, it also is crippling financially. Even after insurance, treatment is costing Meemama over $5,000 a month. Her and her husband, grandaddy, are both retired so $5,000 is drastic.

I am not the type of person that easily asks for help, and I got that from Meemama. She is a very stubborn, independent woman. This situation is dire. This woman is the sun in most of our universes in my family.

So, here I am to please ask if you all can donate whatever you’re able to, in hope that maybe we can take at least one month of financial worries off the shoulders of our favorite soldier.
