Hello, friends! I’m reaching out to share some not-so-great news about our beloved Judy, a woman who has touched so many hearts in our community. On Saturday, March 1st, she had a pretty serious fall that resulted in a fractured ankle and a broken patella. After surgery the next morning, her doctors worked hard to piece her patella back together. She’s now recovering at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, and will soon be transferred to a rehab facility to continue her recovery journey.
As you can imagine, this injury means Judy won’t be able to work for some time. And without her ability to work, she’ll need a little extra help to stay afloat financially while she focuses on healing. Recovery will take about 3 to 6 months, but the doctors are optimistic, and they believe she’ll make a full recovery and be back to her vibrant self in no time.
Judy has always been there for others, offering support, kindness, and love to those in need. Now, it’s our turn to give back and help her maintain her independence while she gets back on her feet.
Any contribution, big or small would be greatly appreciated. Your donation will go directly toward supporting her during her recovery and ensuring she can continue living independently while she heals.
Thank you all so much for your kindness and support.
