My name is Judy James and I'm a devoted daughter, sister, and mother, fighting for my life after being diagnosed with kidney failure. It is a devastating blow that has greatly impacted my life doing the things that bring me so much joy. Once I learned of the diagnosis, my greatest desire has been to be present for every milestone, laughter, and tear, my two beautiful daughters experience in the years to come.

I am vibrant and energetic with a zeal for cooking. The kitchen is truly my happy place as it gives me a sense of peace, healing and happiness. Not to brag or anything but I am known for my mouthwatering meals and honestly, having the ability to cook while I still can has really kept me going. Did I mention that I love gardening too? Everything I put in the earth, bears fruit. Talk about a green thumb! Great hands to cook, green thumb, warm smiles that brings sunshine, the biggest heart, but unfortunately, my two kidneys are fighting to keep me alive.

To help manage my condition and maintain my health, I need to begin treatment as soon as possible. The medical expenses so far, along with the costs of transportation to and from appointments, has created a significant financial burden, yet I am grateful.

Your support will help cover the costs of my treatments, transportation, and other medical-related expenses which will enable me to live a long life, free from the debilitating effects of my illness. Just the thought of missing out on my girls' formative years, not being there to guide them through the trials and tribulations of growing up cripples me.
