Judy Cheeks, daughter of the gospel music legend Rev. Julius Cheeks, has been delighting countless fans around the world with her soulfully angelic vocals for decades. But sadly, Judy has been battling a rare autoimmune condition for more than nine months now. She has spent the last three months in hospital, two of them in ICU. The condition will be life-long but can be manageable over time. When she is finally able to go home, she will need long-term skilled nursing care. This will be expensive (upwards of $20,000 a month) and is not be covered by insurance.
