Need help with supporting this 3 year old girl named Kayla

Hi. It’s Judy McKeown. As those of you who know me probably know, my beloved pup Ginger died close to 2 years ago. She was my constant source of giving and receiving love. When she was with me, I felt grounded and calm. Emotionally, I’ve not done well since then. I suffer from a severe mood disorder. This is very hard to disclose as I do fear the stigma associated with mental illness. I am so willing, however, if it will help me to have another dog. Since Ginger passed away, I have been unable to consistently work and now rely on Social Security, which barely covers my life expenses. I have been quite ill and hospitalized for the past few months related to severe depression. The professionals who are treating me here feel strongly that I need to have a dog. The dog, Kayla, in the pictures has been promised to me with only the charge of spaying. She is 3 years old with a calm, sweet disposition. My limitation is financial. This includes the cost for her to be spayed, cost of food, and cost of initial and possible further vet bills. I so want to be able to take her home after I’m discharged.
