Kelsey and Hank Vincent’s 2-year-old son, Jude, is facing a rare and serious medical diagnosis. After a fall from a trampoline, doctors discovered a skull lesion—unrelated to the fall—that led to more testing. A second lesion was found on his arm, and Jude was soon diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH), a rare disease that required immediate attention.
Jude has already endured a craniotomy, MRIs, full body X-rays, and a PET scan—leading to the discovery of five confirmed bone lesions. He will now have a port placed and begin chemotherapy. His parents are also working to get him seen by a LCH specialist.
LCH is a lifelong condition. Even after treatment, Jude will require long-term monitoring, follow-up care, and ongoing testing to manage potential relapses or complications. This journey is just beginning, and it will continue to impact his life and his family’s for years to come.
This has been overwhelming emotionally, physically, and financially. Any support for the Vincents during this difficult time will help them focus on what matters most—getting Jude the care he needs now and in the future.
Thank you all.
