Our hearts are broken for our coworker Cameron, his wife Erin, and their family following the devastating and unexpected loss of their 23-year-old son, Jude Hunter. No family is ever prepared to lose a child. Right now, Cameron, Erin, and all who loved Jude are trying to navigate unimaginable grief while also facing immediate and unexpected financial burdens. In addition to funeral and burial expenses, the family is facing the costs associated with necessary professional cleanup and remediation of their home and has been temporarily displaced while that work is completed.

Beyond the practical necessity of being elsewhere right now, returning home after such a traumatic loss is understandably incredibly difficult. The fundraiser was created to help ease some of that burden so Cameron, Erin, and their family can have the time and space to grieve without the added pressure of temporary housing, relocation costs, and the many other expenses that have suddenly been placed before them. Donations will help with Jude’s funeral and burial expenses, necessary professional home cleanup and remediation, temporary housing and relocation expenses, and other immediate costs the family is facing as a result of this unexpected loss.
