support Judd in his fight with cancer
Donation protected
Judd is a father to a 4 year old girl (Sadie) and a caring partner to Tiff. He is a devoted dad and a treasured friend. Judd's recent diagnosis of gallbladder cancer came as a shock to everyone. He is now no longer able to work and will be starting chemotherapy in the coming days.
Our goal is to reduce the financial strain that Judd's family is under, allowing him to take on chemo and recover from the treatment, knowing that his family will be taken care of in this difficult time.
Judd has touched many people on his journey.
Born in the small rural town of Weyburn, he later moved to Regina to attend university. He then took his skills to Vancouver where he found success working as an editor in the film industry. Judd loves hockey and plays defence for the North Stars. He is well-travelled, preferring to stay off the beaten path and always eager to experience a new culture. His love for Saskatchewan has never faded as evidenced by his mentions of fishing at White Bear Lake and his devotion to the Roughriders.
Judd is a thoughtful, but private person who would not ask his friends, family or community for help. However, many people do want to help Judd and this seems to be the best way to reach everyone.
Any support is very much appreciated.
Update: Thank you to everyone who donated! The overwhelming show of support has been amazing so we have updated our interim goal of $18000 to our original $25000 goal. Judd started chemotherapy on August 27th and we are all hoping that he responds well to the treatment.
