On Monday November 3rd, 2025. I received a call that my fiance Juan had been involved in a motorcycle accident.
A driver ran a stop sign and hit Juan while he was coming home on his motorcycle.
We lost not only our motorcycle but we lost a big part of our lives the day of the accident. Our motorcycle was a huge part of us and it has shattered our hearts that it was taken away from us in a very traumatic way.
Juan had to undergo four surgeries to save his right leg, he will be having his 5th major surgery on December 31st where one of his surgeons will be doing a bone graft to replace the missing bone from his leg.
The surgeons made a choice to remove a large muscle from his back to use the muscle to create a skin graft as an attempt to save his leg.
After spending three weeks in the hospital and a week at a rehab facility we are back home with family and Juan has been focused on trying to recover from the accident.
It has taken a big impact on Juan’s life, he had plans to join the Army and go to the police academy to become a police officer. After this accident these dreams of his are no longer a reality for him and it has taken an emotional toll on him, being only 20 years old with his dreams taken away from him.
My parents have been helping to support Juan and I through this difficult time, Juan cannot work for 6-7 months and I had to leave my job in order to become a full time care giver for Juan. As his fiancee I’m doing everything I can possibly do to help him through this hard time but I’m reaching out because we need help and cannot do this alone.
Juan and I would truly appreciate any support and encouragement from you guys, any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you and God bless!
