On April 23rd, 2026, Juan was detained by ICE at his annual check in. He is currently being held in ICE detention, and our families are navigating an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. Juan is one of the most hardworking, selfless, and compassionate people I have ever known. He works tirelessly, often 12+ hours a day, to support himself and help others around him. Anyone who knows Juan knows that he would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

As we work through this process, we are facing significant financial burdens. The funds raised through this campaign will go toward:

• Communication expenses so Juan can stay connected with loved ones while in detention

• Commissary funds for basic necessities and daily needs

• Legal fees and immigration-related expenses

• Transportation and other unexpected costs related to his case

This situation has turned our lives upside down, and any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page means more than words can express.

Any funds that are not used directly for Juan’s expenses will be donated to nonprofit organizations that support immigrant families and advocate for humane immigration reform.
