It saddens me to have to make this page for my mother Juana Salinas. As her daughter, it is one of the hardest things to do in life especially when there is so many memories to make still.
As many may know my mom was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2023 while already having lupus and diabetes. It resulted in her having to do dialysis.
Fast forward to the start of 2025 dialysis wasn’t really working for her anymore and she started losing strength in her legs. She was then admitted to hospital April 20th and diagnosed with Edema on both legs due no circulation from heart failure.
Unfortunately, at that point we had limited options. The doctors explained that amputating the legs was necessary but the chance of survival were very low and advised that it wouldn’t be a good outcome. As a family we had to make the tough decision to choose hospice instead. My mother wanted it that way so we are respecting her wishes as well.
This happened very sudden for us and unfortunately we don’t have the means to cover all the cost of the funeral services. We are trying to prepare while she is still with us at home doing hospice. The nurse has already informed us that it can happen within this week. We appreciate any donation made to us at this time of need.
Her Daughter, Alma
