As a long-time co-worker of Juan Rivera and his wife Tonya, I am asking for help on their behalf.

Juan made the difficult decision to retire from the Dept of Licensing after 30 years last October due to his health. Juan was diagnosed with a large brain tumor in his pituitary gland in mid-February. Surgery will require several specialists and will likely require several trips to Seattle over the next few months for surgery, as well as recovery. The financial burden for lodging, gas, and meals is rapidly becoming difficult.

Tonya is also dealing with cancer herself the past couple of years, and medical debt for her treatments and travel has placed them in a precarious financial situation trying to navigate the necessary expenses they are faced with. Juan and Tonya are both the first to help others, and now need our help and support. Please consider easing their financial burden so they can focus on Juan's recovery at this difficult time.
