Hello everyone. Our father Juan Jose Melendez has gone to heaven on 12/31/24. Juan Jose was a devoted Pastor, husband, father, Abuelo, and friend. We will always remember his kind heart and all the wisdom he has passed on to us.

Juan brought his family from Colombia in 1989 in hopes of a better future for his kids and wife. He was a jack of all trades. He worked as a welder, artist, handyman, even worked on an ice breaker in Antartica. In his later life he was a Pastor and dedicated his life to spreading the word of God.

For those of you who knew him, you can remember how charismatic, and funny he was, he loved being the funny guy. But most importantly, everyone knew how much he loved his family, especially our mother, Teresa Melendez his partner in crime.

He will be missed, but never forgotten. Rest in Heaven Abuelo, we love you dearly.
