Estamos desconsolados por la pérdida de nuestro querido padre, Juan Francisco Montano. Un devoto abuelo, padre, hermano y esposo, cuya vida fue un testimonio silencioso de humildad, amor y bondad. Quienes conocieron a nuestro padre sabían que sobrevivió a una insuficiencia renal durante 27 años y que recibía diálisis semanalmente para mantenerse con vida y prosperar.

Al principio del año sufrió una grave caída que le causó problemas pulmonares y, poco después, comenzó a presentar síntomas de insuficiencia multiorgánica. Había estado entrando y saliendo del hospital desde Nochevieja, luchando a diario por recuperar la salud y volver a casa con su familia. Mi padre luchó con ahínco por mantenerse con vida, incluso tras la reciente pérdida de su hija mayor y de mi hermana Nancy, quien también falleció hace apenas dos meses. Pero su lucha llegó a su fin esta mañana de Viernes 11 de Abril, poco antes de las 5 a. m.

Nuestro padre se comportó con gran fortaleza, siempre anteponiendo a los demás a sí mismo y ofreciendo una mano firme y un corazón cálido a quienes lo rodeaban. Su presencia fue una fuente de consuelo, su risa una luz en nuestras vidas y su amor un regalo que siempre llevaremos. Aunque ya no está con nosotros, su espíritu perdura en los recuerdos que atesoramos y en el amor que tan generosamente compartió.

En estos momentos difíciles, solicitamos apoyo para cubrir los costos de su funeral. We are heartbroken by the loss of our beloved father Juan Francisco Montano. A devoted grandfather, father, brother, and husband whose life was a quiet testament to humility, love, and kindness. For those of you who knew our dad, knew that he was a kidney failure survivor of 27 years, doing weekly dialysis treatments to keep him alive and thriving.

At the beginning of the year he suffered a sever fall that caused him to have lung issues and shortly after he started showing symptoms of multiple organ failure. He had been in and out of the hospital since NYE, fighting every day to get healthy and come home to his family. My father fought long and hard to stay alive, even through the recent loss of his eldest daughter and my sister Nancy, who just recently also passed just 2 months ago. But his fight came to an end this morning Friday, April 11th shortly before 5am.

Our dad carried himself with gentle strength, always putting others before himself and offering a steady hand and a warm heart to those around him. His presence was a source of comfort, his laughter a light in our lives, and his love a gift we will carry always. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the memories we cherish and the love he so generously shared.

During this difficult time, we are reaching out for support to help cover the costs of his funeral service.
