Hello, my name is Osbaldo Garcia, unfortunately my uncle Juan “Charro” Rodriguez Salazar passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in his sleep. My uncle lived in the town of Williams, California, where everyone knew him; as he was always making friends and helping out the local vendors at the small swap meet they had in the town. My uncle was always smiling and making jokes to lighten up the mood, whether it be at home with family or with strangers he had just met at the grocery stores; always making someone laugh. My uncle always mentioned that he would like to be buried in his homeland, Mexico, but just like anyone he was referring to many many years from now, but who could’ve guessed he’d pass away the day before he was supposed to come join us for a plate of Menudo.
