Hi my name is Jasmine. I am starting this gofundme to raise money for my cousin Juan Carlos Martinez Rivas who has been battling with kidney failure since 2016. He is in Guadalajara Jalisco Medical Center and needs 580,000 pesos to be able to receive the transplant and the medical treatment.

2016 he was diagnosed with kidney failure and received a transplant that same year,

2022, he experienced complete rejection of the transplant.

Since then, they have been in the protocol for a new transplant, which has not been possible due to various complications and financial constraints. The waiting lists at the medical center are extremely long, and the longer we wait, the worse his condition becomes.

Today January 21,2026 he was intubated and is in urgent need of the transplant.

At this time, we are asking for your help to raise funds so that we can pursue a transplant through other means and ensure he receives the medical attention he needs.

He lost his mother on January 6,2026 after battling cancer for the 3rd time. She was a warrior who helped him even with her own health problems. She was a brave and strong women❤️.
