We are reaching out with love and humility to ask for support for my dad, Juan Carlos Morales.
Juan Carlos is the kind of person who shows up early, stays late, and takes pride in taking care of others. He works at the The Brazilian Court Hotel as the supervisor of engineers in Palm Beach, Florida, where he has been recognized as employee of the quarter and other awards multiple times. He is someone people rely on because he is steady, hardworking, and always willing to help.
Right now, he is facing a major health challenge. Juan Carlos needs triple bypass heart surgery, and his doctors expect he will be out of work for an estimated 3 to 6 months while he recovers.
During that time, he will not be receiving short-term disability pay. On top of that, he has two side jobs (He has always had more than one job) that he will not be able to do while he heals. That loss of income, combined with medical bills and everyday living expenses, creates a heavy financial burden during a season where his only job should be to rest, recover, and get strong again.
We created this GoFundMe to help remove stress and cover:
- Medical bills and recovery-related costs
- Mortgage and essential monthly bills
- Groceries, transportation, and basic necessities while he is unable to work
- Any unexpected expenses that come with a long recovery
