Hello everyone,

We are creating this fundraiser to support our brother Juan Carlos Altamirano after the devastating flood that struck North Plainfield on Monday, July 14th.

Our brother has suffered three devastating events in just four years. Ida in 2021 completely flooded his house and cars. A mini tornado hitting North Plainfield on July 3rd severely damaged the home’s roof, backyard, and garage. And lastly, with Monday’s storm, our brother has lost everything when floodwaters rushed into his basement, rising to over six feet in minutes. The waters completely destroyed the basement and garage, his car, and work equipment.

Thank God our brother, sister-in-law, 6-year-old niece, and 4-year-old nephew are all okay, but they now face the difficult road of starting over, without a car, work equipment, and thousands of dollars in repairs to the house.

We are humbly asking for help from our friends, loved ones, and community to rebuild.

Hemos creado esta recaudación de fondos para apoyar a nuestro hermano Juan Carlos Altamirano después de la devastadora inundación que ocurrió en North Plainfield el lunes 14 de julio.

Nuestro hermano ha sufrido tres eventos devastadores en menos de cuatro años. ¡Ida en 2021 completamente inundó su basement y carros! Un mini tornado que pegó en North Plainfield el 3 de julio causó daño en el techo de su hogar, garage y patio. Y por último, con la tormenta del lunes, nuestro hermano ha perdido todo con las aguas de más de 6 pies destruyendo su basement, garage, carro y herramientas de trabajo.

Gracias a Dios nuestro hermano, cuñada, sobrina de 6 años y sobrino de 4 años están bien, pero les espera un difícil camino por delante para reconstruir su hogar y negocio de nuevo.
