Honoring Juan Bravo’s Final Wish
Juan Bravo was a man of kindness, resilience, and deep love for his family. Always willing to lend a helping hand until his health no longer allowed it, he fought a courageous battle against renal disease for two and a half years. Despite his strength, his passing was unexpected, leaving a profound void in the lives of those who loved him.
Juan’s heart was always in Mexico, but his greatest love was his children, my nieces and nephews, Juan Pablo, Monica, Sebastian, and Bernardo, which kept him here in Kansas City. When his former wife and devoted co-parent, my cousin Elsa Bravo, decided to move to Kansas City 17 years ago from Lake Tahoe to be closer to our family, he remained by their side, devoted to their well-being. I have always admired my nieces and nephews for the unwavering love and care they showed their father, especially in his most difficult times.
Now, to honor his final wish, his children are working to return him to his birthplace, La Barca, Jalisco, where he will be laid to rest beside his beloved mother and father. This journey is not easy, and they need our help to make it possible.
Please help us support the Bravo family in fulfilling this wish. Any contribution—big or small—would mean the world. Your generosity will help return him to his most beloved place, where he can rest in peace.
Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
