On my 54th birthday in May, I found out I have a very rare form of bladder cancer called clear cell carcinoma. This type of cancer is generally found in men's kidneys or women's uterus. Mine is in the muscle of the bladder.
As you can see from my cover photo, my chemo and immunotherapy are complete for now. The medical bills are piling up and I have 2 more surgeries to go. I went from working 45 hours a week at a good-paying job to FMLA and now short-term disability until January. I will continue with immunotherapy after surgery, but as of now, I do not know for how long.
If anyone can help out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for donating and your kindness.
J
