Dear family and friends,

On June 11th my brother Colin and his wife Brittany welcomed their handsome baby boy Jr at Carson Tahoe Hospital. Due to an unexpected diagnosis, Jr was immediately sent to Sunrise hospital in Las Vegas the following day. He has been diagnosed with Hypo-plastic Left Heart Disease. This is when one side of his heart does not work correctly, as to then his first surgery was performed putting bands on his heart.

First surgery went well and Jr is in high spirits and is now eating on his own and getting the best care. Moving forward he has a 2nd surgery coming up this week and yet another to come in about 2-4 months.

The list of medical expenses are yet to be known…but the cost of living, travel, time off work, and making time between for their lives and family here in Gardnerville are stacking up.

Colin and Brittany grew up here in the valley and also have two other wonderful boys, who also would love to have their baby brother home. Colin is full time at the CV Golf Course and a varsity football coach at DHS. Brittany is full time mom with the most caring and loving heart you could imagine. I can’t imagine what they are going through of two most deserving people of happiness and support.

The medical treatment Jr needs is most needed for his health and future.
