This GoFundMe is to support the funeral and memorial arrangements as well as the ongoing and unfillable financial and emotional hole left by the cold-blooded murder of our dear Jr. Jr was the epitome of a family man – a loving father and consummate provider for his two children ages 1 and 3, as well as his mom and two sisters with whom he was very close. As the only man in the family, Jr. prided himself as the protector and provider for all generations. He never failed to step up and step in, offering love, protection, resources – both financial and emotional. He was a hard worker whose greatest delight was in being able to take care of his family and friends. Many describe him as always “giving the shirt off his back”, and his greatest goal, achievement, and joy was in being able to be the one his friends and family could turn to. 

Jr. was truly the head of a multigenerational family and they are at a loss as to how to move forward without him. Too heartbroken to think, they now also find themselves without their main breadwinner, without one of the children’s beloved father and a core caretaker, without the person who always drove, always got them to and from appointments, always stepped in to help with medical and physical needs, always provided the groceries and necessities, always took care of anything needed around the houses of his whole family. This GoFundMe is hoping to alleviate not only the very unexpected cost of the funeral and memorial, but to step in and provide some financial support for the family as they work through their grief and try to figure out how to move forward with this unfillable hole in their lives. Jr. was a gift to his family and friends, and nothing will ever make up for his loss, but the least we can do is try to provide a cushion for the family as they try to make sense of this and rebuild together.
