Support JP's Healing Journey Together

Hello, my name is Melissa Schneider and I am raising funds for my son's roommate and very good friend at Florida State University. His name is JP. Tragically, last week, JP was attacked, beaten, and robbed by 5 men as he was leaving a birthday party at Clyde's & Costello's restaurant/bar in Tallahassee. At the kindness of a stranger, he was driven to the ER where bloodwork revealed he was roofied. JP is the kindest and most gentle soul. Before the attack, he was the one always cheering up others with his positive attitude and rallying for his friends and the underdog. Now, it's our turn to show him the love and support. My son, Riley, feels so lucky to know JP and wishes there were more JPs in the world. I agree. It would be a much better place for all of us if there were more of him.

While JP recovers, it's been a challenge to work (which helps pay for his college). JP is extremely close to his mom and sister, who live in Orlando (over a 4-hour drive from school). As you can imagine, this has taken a toll on them emotionally as well. They all have been through so much in life. However, you would never know because they are always uplifting others. Please help me show them that blessings come to those who bless others. The goal is to raise enough money for JP's medical expenses and a year of school so he can focus on himself, heal, and recover.
