My name is Joy, and I am a wife and mom of three children. In 2021, I made the life-changing decision to leave a well-paying job in respiratory therapy to answer my call to ministry with women and families. It was during the peak of COVID, while working in the ICU, that I saw the deep need for praying women, especially mothers. One day, I met a mother whose heart was broken and devastated—she was holding her Bible, but was so overwhelmed that she did not know how to pray for her son in the ICU, and she did not have a community to pray for her. Witnessing her struggle caused a revolt within me and left me wondering how she could feel so lost in prayer. That moment made my calling clear: to leave everything and serve God by equipping women spiritually, so they can be confident in their God-given purpose, heal, and face any challenges that come their way.
Since then, I have dedicated myself to helping women who are experiencing spiritual and emotional burnout, organizing retreats that offer rest, renewal, and connection. Recently, I was accepted into a Christian Women program for a life-changing trip to Israel, taking place March 7–14, 2026. This opportunity is a response to my call to ministry, and I believe it will equip me to serve even more effectively.
Traveling to Israel will allow me to deepen my understanding of Biblical teachings and bring fresh inspiration to the women I support. By walking where the stories of the Bible unfolded, I hope to enhance the spiritual retreat experience I offer and help women stand in their God-given authority. This journey will not only enrich my own faith, but also position me to share new insights and encouragement with others who are seeking hope and healing.
The funds raised will go directly toward the seven-day package experience, which includes hotel, food, and transportation, as well as round-trip airfare to and from Israel. Additionally, your support will help provide resources for the Indomitable Woman Retreat, ensuring that more women can benefit from these transformative experiences.
