Joy suffered a severe stroke on September 5, inhibiting her speech, gait and paralyzing her right arm. She is in rehab to hopefully get her strength and speech back but has a very long and costly road ahead.

She will need a lot of equipment that is not covered by insurance, such as railings, lighting and bathroom equipment. On top of that, she has been living without A/C for the past few months due to the financial burden of needing an entirely new HVAC system.

Our family is grateful for those able and willing to help offset some of the impending medical bills and home renovations necessary to help our mom adjust to her new normal. Thank you so much!
