Support Joyful Yoga Studio

Hi Friends,
I’m reaching out to request your support for Joyful Yoga in Tempe, AZ. As you can imagine, they have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a yoga and wellness provider, they chose to close their doors over a month ago to protect public health and the wellbeing of the Joyful Yoga community. Sadly, their landlord is not working with them in the way that they had hoped. As a result, they are facing some serious financial trouble that is threatening their ability to keep their doors open once the “stay order” is lifted.
Joyful Yoga has been an integral part of the yoga and wellness community since 2009. They provide a truly healing and nurturing space for their students and clients alike. They offer free classes to active service people and veterans, deep discounts for first responders and school teachers, and have been offering classes to Silver and Fit even though they haven’t been receiving payment.
Four years ago, I found myself in a similar situation with the dissolution of my own studio. Anita and Charla provided me with a safe and welcome space for my students and trainees. I have been honored to become an integral part of this studio and the thought of them not being able to remain open breaks my heart. I am not alone…this is personal to me as well as the entire Joyful community. We would ALL grieve this loss and it would leave a void that no other studio would be able to fill.
My friends, I urge you to consider a donation to help keep Joyful Yoga in business beyond the “stay at home” order. ANY amount would be greatly appreciated. I understand this is a lot to ask right now, but we all need Joyful Yoga now more than ever. Whether you are able to support Joyful Yoga financially, we would appreciate your highest thoughts and prayers right now.
