Support Joy and Beverly's Recovery Journey

I was asked by someone to create this for my mother and my sister.

Tuesday, May 20 at 1:20 pm, they were involved in a bad wreck. My sister, Joy, was the driver. She has a fractured rib and her right (and dominant) arm is broken in 3 places. She will have to have surgery next week on this. The ortho doc estimated that she will be out of work for 2-3 months. My mother, Beverly, was the passenger. She has 9 broken ribs and has been in the ICU since Tuesday night due to difficulty breathing (mainly due to the ribs). Hopefully, she will be able to go home from the hospital soon. She will be out of work for a little bit as well and is definitely looking at a long road to completely being recovered.

If anything is collected by this fund, it will go to them for food and bills while they are out of work. Thank you to everyone who has kept us in your thoughts. This has definitely been a stressful week and we are still facing many more stressful weeks.

Update: Beverly was discharged from the hospital but has to have 24/7 assistants right now due to not being able to do really anything for herself. Joy had surgery to put plates in her arm where the breaks are. They are both still in a lot of pain and are still looking at a lot of recovery and physical therapy to get them back to “normal”.
