Support Jovie’s Journey: Helping a Much-Loved Member of Our Club York Family

Our beautiful friend and colleague Jovie has been facing an incredibly tough health battle for some time. Those who know her will understand just how fiercely she has fought—with grace, courage, humour, and the vibrant spirit that makes her such a cherished part of our Club York family.

Recently, Jovie’s doctors shared the heartbreaking news that her body can no longer continue with further treatment. She has now entered palliative care, supported closely by her devoted partner, Lindsay, who has been by her side every step of the way.

As Jovie navigates this stage of her journey, we want to surround her with love, comfort, and practical support. Many of us have asked what we can do—how we can help, how we can show her just how much she means to all of us.

This fund has been created as a way for those who care about Jovie to come together and ease some of the burdens that she and Lindsay are carrying during this incredibly difficult time. Contributions will help with:

Medical and care-related expenses

Support for Lindsay as he devotes his time to being with Jovie

Day-to-day costs that become overwhelming during prolonged illness

Creating moments of comfort, peace, and dignity for Jovie in the time ahead

Club York will also be aiming to contribute financially to assist with hopefully bringing one of her children from overseas to see Jovie so they can be together.

Jovie has touched so many hearts with her warmth, fabulous energy, and unwavering kindness. She has been a shining part of our team, a joy to work with, and a friend to so many. Now it’s our turn to wrap our arms around her.
