Dear Friends, Kind Hearts, and Believers in Change,
My name is Dr. Quita Whea Roberts, and I stand before you today as the proud daughter of Mrs. Comfort M. Whea, a trailblazer, a hero, a woman whose love for her village and its children moved her to establish Jovhan Public School in Zinc Camp, Margibi County, Liberia 1972.
My mother dreamed of a place where children, who once had no access to education, could gather to learn, grow, and dare to imagine a future beyond the hardships of rural life. Today, that dream lives on, but now, we must take it further.
Our Urgent Mission: Expanding Jovhan Public School
Right now, our students, bright-eyed, eager, and full of potential, reach a heartbreaking crossroads after primary school. Without a middle or high school nearby, many are forced to stop their education, sacrificing their dreams simply because the opportunity doesn’t exist.
We cannot let this continue.
Together, we can build new classrooms, train teachers, and provide resources to ensure that these children not only learn to read and write but also graduate, thrive, and become the leaders their community desperately needs.
Why Your Support Matters
Every child in Zinc Camp carries a story of resilience, of struggle, but also of hope. Hope that someone, somewhere, will see their potential and give them a chance.
$50 can provide textbooks for a student for a year.
$150 can help pay a teacher’s salary for a month.
$500 can contribute to building a safe, sturdy classroom.
But more than numbers, your donation is a lifeline, a message to these children that they are seen, valued, and worthy of a future filled with possibilities.
Join Us in Writing the Next Chapter
This isn’t just about building a school. It’s about breaking cycles of poverty, empowering girls to stay in classrooms instead of early marriages, and giving boys the tools to build rather than beg. It’s about honoring my mother’s vision while creating a legacy that outlives us all.
If you’ve ever believed in the power of education to change lives, this is your moment.
Donate today. Be the reason a child in Zinc Camp looks back one day and says, This is where my life changed.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. – Malcolm X
