Support Journee’s Recovery Process

Hi, my name is Sadie. I am starting this go fund me to help my niece Journee and my sister Macie and her husband Josh as they navigate through this rough patch.

Little Journee was diagnosed with a genetic disease called Hirschsprung’s Disease. Hirschsprung disease is an intestinal disorder characterized by the absence of nerves in parts of the intestine. This condition occurs when the nerves in the intestine do not form properly during development before birth. Which causes her colon to not function properly. She had to get rectal irrigations multiple times a day just to pass stool and keep her colon a safe size before going into surgery. She ended up having a Pull through surgery to get the bad parts of her colon removed and the good parts reattached. With this Macie has been unable to work in order to stay home and help Journee through her recovery process leaving them down to one income. Their A/C unit has also recently gone out in the home and had to be completely replaced. Leaving them with medical debt and financial hardship.
