This is our Journee, Hi my name is Sabrina DeMyers I’m the mother of Journee Hudson, who was born prematurely due to me having a high risk pregnancy and placenta previa. From this Journee was born at 36 weeks weighing only 3lbs 6oz. Not only is she premature but she suffers from VSD and several other anomalies, she is 5 months old and we’ve spent 3 months in the hospital. Pumping breast milk back and forth to see and care for our baby girl in NICU. She was released in August and has been at home being cared for. Due to other anomalies she also has a G-tube to be fed. So guys and gals with the complexity of her care, she has weekly doctors visits. The VSD caused her to have heart surgery and they performed a temporary band on her heart but as she grows so does her heart, so that band will get tight making it hard for her to breathe, which will require another surgery and a complete closure of the hole in her heart. (That’s right the hole is that big) From all of this, I have been out of work on a personal leave to care for our baby girl. We will appreciate prayers and any kind of support as this Journee grows.
