My name is Josue, and I am reaching out for support as I begin a new chapter in my life. I have recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma (Cáncer) and Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (PTI), I'm getting my 4th chemotherapy (03/26/2026) of 12. While this news has brought many changes, I am meeting this challenge with gratitude and a sense of purpose. I am not overwhelmed, scared, or sad—instead, I see this as one of the most important times to learn and grow.
Without insurance, my medical bills have quickly become unmanageable. The combination of these two conditions has made my treatment especially complex and expensive. The funds I am hoping to raise will go directly toward covering my medical bills, travel for treatment, daily expenses, rent, and car insurance. Every bit of support will help me focus on healing and learning from this experience, without the constant worry of financial strain.
I am a piano teacher and piano technician in Salt Lake City, working with 32 wonderful students, all from low-income Spanish-speaking families. Teaching music is my passion, and I want nothing more than to continue sharing it with my students. However, my health challenges have made it increasingly difficult to keep up with my teaching schedule and travel each day. My wife and sons are doing their best to help, but it is hard for them to manage everything on their own. I want to continue teaching them as long as a can. I'm very grateful with family BOURNE "BOURNE SCHOLARSHIP" for their support, for funding piano lessons and for donating pianos to those with limited resources. Grateful with my Bishop at church.
I am deeply grateful to anyone who is able to support me during this time. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in my life and help me get back to doing what I love. Thank you for considering a donation and for standing by me as I work toward recovery and personal growth.
