Help Josué Jiménez Fight for His Life

On February 14, 2026, our beloved Josué Jiménez — a vibrant, faith-filled 19-year-old — suffered a tragic motorcycle accident that has changed his life forever. Today, Josué remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit at Coromina Clinic in Santiago, Dominican Republic, facing a long and difficult road ahead.

Josué is a dedicated accounting student with excellent grades and a bright future full of promise. He is the first of three children of the Jiménez-Gómez family and the only son — a loving brother, devoted child, and cherished friend. Deeply rooted in his Catholic faith, Josué is an active member of the “Onda Juvenil Católica” youth church group. He is known for his joyful spirit, kind heart, and the light he brings to everyone around him.

As a result of the accident, Josué has lost movement from his neck down. He now requires critical, life-sustaining medical care, including a tracheostomy to breathe and a PEG tube for feeding. He will need multiple surgeries, ongoing intensive care, and extensive rehabilitation.

Unfortunately, the family’s insurance coverage has been exhausted, and the financial burden of these urgent medical expenses is overwhelming. The Jiménez-Gómez family is doing everything they can, but they cannot do this alone.

El 14 de febrero de 2026, nuestro querido Josué Jiménez, un joven lleno de vida y fe de tan solo 19 años, sufrió un trágico accidente de motocicleta que cambió su vida para siempre. Actualmente, Josué permanece en estado crítico en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de la Clinica Corominas en Santiago, República Dominicana, enfrentando un camino largo y difícil.

Josué es un dedicado estudiante de contabilidad con excelentes calificaciones y un futuro brillante por delante. Es el mayor de tres hijos de la familia Jiménez-Gómez y el único varón — un hijo amoroso, hermano ejemplar y amigo incondicional. Profundamente arraigado en su fe católica, forma parte activa del grupo juvenil “Onda Juvenil Católica”. Es conocido por su alegría, su noble corazón y la luz que transmite a todos los que lo rodean.

Como consecuencia del accidente, Josué ha perdido movilidad desde el cuello hacia abajo. Necesita atención médica crítica y constante, incluyendo una traqueotomía para poder respirar y una sonda PEG para su alimentación. Además, enfrentará múltiples cirugías y un proceso extenso de rehabilitación.

Lamentablemente, la cobertura del seguro ya no está cubriendo los gastos médicos, y la carga financiera es abrumadora para la familia. La familia Jiménez-Gómez está haciendo todo lo posible, pero no pueden enfrentar esta situación solos.

Hoy acudimos a ustedes con humildad para pedir su apoyo. Cualquier donación, sin importar la cantidad, será destinada directamente a cubrir los gastos médicos y el cuidado crítico que Josué necesita.
