Hello everyone my name is Stacy I work with Sophia. As some may already know, her fur-daughter Josie had a horrible accident Tuesday afternoon. She was playing in the yard with the other pups and fell into a just extinguished fire pit due to her blindness. She is suffering from very severe burns on her stomach, vulva, and feet. Because of the severity of her injuries she is unable to walk or urinate and is in a great deal of pain. She had to be sent to a specialty veterinary hospital in Michigan to receive proper treatment which includes intravenous antibiotics, pain medication, and fluids. As well as dressing and observation of burns in order to avoid infection, catheterization due to swelling which has obstructed her ability to urinate.

In totality her treatment is extensive and requires her to stay at the hospital where she has remained since Tuesday night.

Sophia and her husband are traveling back and forth to visit Josie (which is an additional consideration).

Anyone who knows Sophia and Keith knows what kind, sweet, wonderful humans they are. They have gone above and beyond for me personally recently and I know that any of their friends probably have similar testimonies.

As you can imagine this has added up to a huge medical bill. Any contribution at all for the medical care of sweet Josie and support of Sophia and Keith is appreciated beyond measure.
