Support Josie's Journey to Her True Self

Hey, my name is Josie. I am a trans woman in need of some help. I have been transitioning for 3 years and life is so much better. I am planning on having my GRS (gender reassignment surgery) on November 25th with Dr. Hanna at the Hanna Gender Center in Dallas, Texas. I would like to ask for help with the cost of the insurance deductible and the cost of travel from Alabama to Texas.

I will need accommodations in Dallas for approximately three weeks. If anyone can find it in their heart to help in any way, I would greatly appreciate it.

Josie's Background:

I am a 40-year-old trans woman. I started my medical transition on Feb 16th, 2022. Since that point, I have lived my life as my true self and I have never looked back. I have known that I was a girl since I was about 4 years old, but it was not possible for me to even dream of coming out back then. Even at that age, I knew it was a dangerous time. In my early 20s, I chose not to transition because I wanted to be a teacher. I thought that my students would not accept me. However, in the fall of 2021, I had enough. I could no longer handle hiding who I was. I no longer cared about the consequences of my decision. I was wrong about my students and my friends. I have been met with love and acceptance. Now, I am ready for my next step in my transition, and that is having my gender reassignment surgery.
