Hello! My name is Sophia, and my best friend Josie, who is 20, has mucosal melanoma. Mucosal Melanoma is an extremely rare cancer that my friend has been battling since July of 2024. She has received news that she will need to undergo immunotherapy and radiation- her third course of treatment- starting in November of 2026. She will need to travel and live in Ohio for months. As you can imagine, the costs of travel, housing, food, and treatment have accumulated and are an impossible expense to take on in the coming months. Josie is an unbelievably driven, kind, smart, creative, and loving person. She deserves a long, fulfilling life, and your help would contribute to that. I have had the pleasure and honor of knowing Josie since we were 6, and I fully plan on knowing and loving her for the rest of our lives. She is such an immensely bright part of my life, and I am begging that that light doesn't go out.
