On Thursday night, my cat Josie got a hold of a string while I was out of the house. The string was thrown away before I saw what happened so we didn’t know until it was too late :( it wrapped around her tongue and traveled through her intestines. It is a residual linear foreign body which can cut her intestines and cause her to go septic. Initial costs have already amounted to $1,094.23, $ $1,177.48, and $455.02. Surgery will cost an estimated $2.6-4.5k. As of this morning (11/26), she has been admitted for surgery where we will know if her intestines have gone necrotic and they will try their best to save her. Any donation helps.
