My younger sister’s cat, Milton, is currently being hospitalized for a urinary track obstruction. Milton is 8 years old and very bonded to my sister, Josie, as well as his litter mate, Maeve. He is normally a very social and loving cat but yesterday morning (4/1), Josie noticed Milton wasn’t acting himself and was expressing discomfort. Since then, Milton has been seen by several vets and ultimately, ended up at the emergency vet to receive a catheter and additional treatment. Milton will remain at the emergency vet overnight and possibly into Friday (4/4). The unexpected vet bills have accumulated and now, Josie is responsible for paying nearly $5,000 in vet care. My other sister, Makenzie and I wanted to start a fundraiser to help take some of the stress and financial burden off Josie’s shoulders and allow her to focus on getting Milton back to himself!
