Support Josiah's Journey to Recovery

Hi folks,

We really need your help. Josiah, my brother, needs brain surgery to remove a large benign lesion that has been making him sick for the past few years. He is only 18 years old.

A little bit about Josiah:
Of course, he is a snarky teenager. Our family loves his antics even though he likes to take pictures of us with our mouth full. He loves to play video games, it's something he and I can do together even when we are a few states apart. But he is also is sweet and thoughtful. He asked me what my favorite spell was once from the Harry Potter series. Then, a year later he sent me a wand with that spell engraved on it.

As he has gotten sicker, he has had less energy. We miss his antics, it's gotten harder to share things like video games. He hasn't been well enough to enjoy things he once loved in so long.

He should never have to go through this.

What your support can do:
The costs associated with his brain surgery are enormous. It requires going to a specialist out of state and staying in the area while he recuperates. My family already had to take out a loan to cover the expense — even with insurance.

We are still having trouble affording his aftercare. Medicines, co-pays for the follow-up visits, transportation to and from the hospital, lodging, and food are an enormous amount on their own. We need your help to make sure he has what he needs to recover.

Thank you for just getting to know a little bit about my brother and our family. Anything you can donate is so very appreciated. This is a hard time for us, and your support lessens the burden.

Josiah's Sister,
Autumn
