Josiah is Home!
Donation protected

After seven months of being in the ICU, never even having been outside, he was finally discharged to go home!! The day before Thanksgiving 2016, his parents Benjamin and Alyssa, were thrilled to finally bring their youngest son home to settle into home life with his 4 older siblings.
While this is a monumental step in his healing process, Josiah still has a long road ahead of him. He will require several other surgeries, as well as medical equipment to assist with his breathing and eating, physical therapy to help him learn to swallow foods and liquids, and other medical therapies and treatments as they also try to better understand how these abnormalities have affected his sight and hearing. Due to the fact that he is now an outpatient, his medical coverage may be changing. In December, Alyssa and Benjamin will find out the extent of his coverage changes and will make those financial adjustments accordingly.
In the meantime, please consider donating to the Hughes family to help them with these ongoing medical costs and to help cushion the changes in insurance coverage. Any donation would help, and would be so incredibly appreciated! Thank you so much for taking the time to consider donating, have a blessed day!
