Hello. This is our son Josiah and he was recently diagnosed with Hurlers syndrome. He has been given a prognosis of 20-30 years with treatment. Needless to say we are shooting for treatment which will start ASAP. He requires weekly enzyme replacement infusions that will hopefully be done in Lubbock. He also has to have a bone marrow transplant sometime in the near future. We also will be seeing several specialists such as neurologists and cardiologists yearly to monitor how his different organ systems are developing.
