Support Joshua’s Recovery & Daily Needs

Joshua McKay is a 56-year-old friend I’ve known for almost twenty years. Earlier this year, Joshua had to file for disability after a significant decline in his health. He suffered a heart attack a few years ago, and only recently discovered the extent of the damage it caused. Since then, he’s struggled with A-Fib and other irregular heart rhythms, along with constant water retention. His current ejection fraction is around 33%, and he’s now being evaluated to see if he’ll need to be placed on a heart transplant list.

Joshua’s situation has become even more challenging as he recently ran out of unemployment benefits and is unable to work until his disability is approved. On top of that, his primary mode of transportation has broken down, making it difficult for him to get to important medical appointments.

Throughout the years, Joshua has always given back to the San Diego community, organizing events to donate food to the homeless on Thanksgiving and Christmas. He is a proud man who has always helped others, but now life has dealt him a tough hand and he needs support. Any funds collected will go toward helping Joshua repair his transportation and cover essential daily living expenses like food and shelter. Your support will make a real difference for Joshua as he faces these difficult times. Thank you for considering a donation to help someone who has always been there for others.
