Last year I skipped the annual market/personal GFM but this time it seems important. I’ve been too focused on the cafe and the chaos of that. But, every year the start of market season brings its own special time. Actually got out of the gate without too much need. But currently, partly because I rarely get paid for my restaurant work, it’s a little sketchy. I already have some minor damage to equipment, which I can guarantee will escalate throughout the season- rough place to do markets! I work like 80 hours a week but of course I don’t get compensated anywhere near to a respectable level. I think everyone knows that by now. Working on it!
Needs are-
Rent (June and it’s low but I don’t want to have no where to live lol!)
Minor equipment repair
A few bills, if I get enough
Replace my printer it crapped out and is a necessary piece of equipment
Socks- they mostly got the heels torn out from walking everywhere and in gravel in those last two pairs of shoes that got destroyed (fun!)
And of course a belt/ mine just ripped in half
That adds up to more than I’m asking obviously but I’d be happy just covering rent even. My house owner friend is a nice guy and I’d like to make it easier for him by not being a scrub. Other than that markets should start taking care of themselves, honestly I’m surprised I’m not asking for the Livingston season fee again this year- already paid it! Yayyy. Anyway anything helps and I’ll provide updates on my progress, thanks!
